It’s really hard to keep up with all the behind-the-scenes drama plaguing the Los Angeles Lakers.
A few months ago, there was all the hubbub around their head coaching search after they sacked Frank Vogel.
After that, the drama was around Russell Westbrook and his future with the team following his troubled season.
That only escalated when the rumors leaked that Kyrie Irving wants to leave the Brooklyn Nets for the Lakers.

Many people thought a divorce between Westbrook and the Lakers was inevitable but maybe that’s not the case.
The latest reports say that LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Westbrook all “huddled on a phone conversation” recently and are “vowing to make it work.”
Does that mean Westbrook is definitely staying or is there still a chance he is sent away?
See, it’s very hard to keep up with.
Westbrook’s Road
Even if James, Davis, and Westbrook are close and speaking well with one another that doesn’t mean the Lakers won’t still attempt to make a trade.
They are very eager to get Irving, as well as a few other free agents floating around the league.
Westbrook is a central part of pretty much every conceivable trade package so there is still a huge chance of him leaving the Lakers.
But there is also the chance that none of the trades will come together and he remains in purple and gold.
If that’s the case, fans should take heart of the news that the team’s big trio is on the same page.
They should also be relieved to hear head coach Darvin Ham speak about Westbrook’s potential and role with the team.
He is definitely going to approach Westbrook in a way that is different from Vogel.
However, he might not ever get the chance.
