Believe it or not, the Los Angeles Lakers have a lot to celebrate lately.
It is true that the team just suffered one of its worst seasons ever but they are also joyous about the fact that they have been around for 75 years now.
This upcoming season will be one that features a lot of celebrations and memorials about all that has come before.
Hopefully, the team wins a few games too.

In honor of their 75th year, the team unveiled a new “Classic Edition” jersey that will be used a few times in the upcoming season.
The jersey is a throwback to Minneapolis Lakers jerseys from the 1950s and the team revealed it with this statement:
“Every legacy has a beginning. Featuring the MPLS ’50s era blue and gold, the Classic Edition recreates the Lakers’ first-ever home uniform in honor of our 75th season.”
It’ll be great to see LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and the rest of the squad wearing these but it could be one of the few highlights of the season for fans.

The revealed jerseys really do look good and the team should be commended for making something simple, historic, and easy on the eyes.
Although, it must be noted that they look a lot like UCLA’s basketball jerseys, especially with the powder blue and gold lining.
Still, it’s a great product and will likely fly off the shelves.
Fans are looking for any reason to be happy when it comes to the Lakers.
The last season was a disaster and it doesn’t look like next season will be a whole lot better, unless the team comes together in an amazing way and really impresses.
