The Los Angeles Lakers are currently in the midst of an intense blame game.
People within the organization are trying to pin this horrible season on nearly anyone.
The finger-wagging is directed at everyone from former coach Frank Vogel to LeBron James to Russell Westbrook to the front office.
One person who is getting his fair share of the blame is Lakers General Manager Rob Pelinka.
While most people think Vogel is at fault for bad rotations on the floor, the roster he was working with was the result of Pelinka.
Pelinka: "The roster decisions ultimately rest on my shoulders." Says he will take "ultimate accountability" for how the roster is built.

And now Pelinka says he is comfortable taking the blame.
Speaking with the press on Monday shortly after the official firing of Vogel, Pelinka said, “The roster decisions ultimately rest on my shoulders.”
Pelinka added that he takes “ultimate accountability” for how the roster is built.
But what does that really mean?
Ultimate Accountability
What does “ultimate accountability” really mean?
It’s great that Pelinka says he is comfortable taking the blame.
Him being honest about his position within the organization is also good.
But what does that mean for the future of the team?
This season’s lineup was an absolute mess, even though it was crafted with the best of intentions.
Fans of the Lakers don’t want to hear Pelinka taking accountability.
Instead, they want to hear how he will work hard to make sure nothing like this happens again.
How can a situation like the Westbrook one be avoided in the future?
Did Pelinka learn his lesson?
Does he have a legitimate game plan moving forward to get the team back on track?
These are the burning questions that Lakers faithful need answered.
