Fans of the Los Angeles Lakers are reeling today after their team has been officially eliminated from the playoffs.
In a stunning fall from grace, the team that won the Finals just two seasons ago is now taking an extra-long summer break despite having the talents of LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Russell Westbrook, and others.
No one is happy about how this season ended, including some of the most loyal LA fans.
What we thought was a team that would be competing for a Championship, could not even make the 'Play In' Tournament…This has to be the worst season in Lakers history…
Suns over Lakers, 121-110…

Faithful Lakers commentator Allen Sliwa dragged the team on Tuesday night.
On Twitter he said: “What we thought was a team that would be competing for a Championship, could not even make the ‘Play In’ Tournament… This has to be the worst season in Lakers history…”
It’s hard to hear the truth sometimes.
What’s Next For LA?
The most shocking thing about this awful season for LA is just how talented the roster is.
James is one of the best basketball players of all time, Davis is a monster big man, Westbrook is a former MVP.
Meanwhile, the likes of Carmelo Anthony, Dwight Howard, Trevor Ariza, and a slew of young talents filled the roster.
So how could things go so wrong?
Yes, injuries surely held them back but the problems with the Lakers go beyond that.
This season proves that just because a team looks good on paper doesn’t mean it’s worthwhile.
Sometimes the best pieces in the league don’t fit together.
Even future Hall Of Famers don’t always work well as a unit, even with all their skills.
It’s time for the Lakers to break it all down and try again.
In the meantime, they can expect quite a few angry tweets from their most die-hard supporters.
