While most people in NFL circles are talking about Bryce Young, Will Anderson Jr., or even Jalen Carter, the Texas Longhorns’ Bijan Robinson might as well be a top-3 player in this upcoming class.
This class is rather thin at most OL positions and doesn’t have a lot of depth after the first couple of rounds, but one thing’s for sure: Robinson is the best RB on the board.
He’s a tackle-breaking machine who won’t shy away from contact and a guy that needs to be tackled by multiple people just to get him to the ground.
That’s why former NFL star LaDainian Tomlinson believes the Chicago Bears should trade the first overall pick and use whatever first-round pick they get in return to land Robinson.
“I think Chicago should trade out of the first pick,” Tomlinson said. “They need a plethora of positions to fill there in Chicago to put around Justin Fields — you put this kid on your backfield, and your offense gets a lot better, he’s gonna make Justin Fields better.”

Robinson — touted as the best RB prospect since Saquon Barkley — is coming off posting 1,580 rushing yards, 18 rushing touchdowns, 314 receiving yards, and two receiving touchdowns last season alone, so he can definitely handle the huge workload the Bears could and should give him right out of the gate.
He made sure to make a statement at the NFL Scouting Combine, showing off his 124-inch broad jump and a 37-inch vertical, timing at 4.46 in the 40-yard dash.
The Bears showed signs of life with Justin Fields leading the way out of the backfield, but they need to maximize their assets in this upcoming NFL Draft if the want to avoid picking in the top-5 next season as well.
And while David Montgomery was one of the few reliable offensive weapons they had last season, Robinson looks like a potential superstar at the position.NEXT: Bears GM Makes His Thoughts Clear On #1 Pick
