It has been a rough few days for Steve Nash and Sean Marks of the Brooklyn Nets.
Over the weekend, it was reported that Kevin Durant told the owner of the team that he wanted to be traded away or see the firing of both Nash and Marks, the head coach and general manager.
Then came news that Kyrie Irving also isn’t a fan of either man, only adding more fuel to the fire that is burning at the center of the Nets.
Obviously, neither Durant nor Irving will come out to confirm or deny this report.

But one man is speaking on Irving’s behalf.
His agent had a brief statement about the rumors of Irving disliking Nash and Marks.
“I am not sure where this narrative is coming from but Kyrie does not hate Steve nor Sean,” he said.
Is that the truth or just an attempt at cleaning up a very messy situation?
Peace & Love In Brooklyn
A lot of speculation has swirled around both Nash and Marks ever since these rumors leaked.
Will they both get the ax or will they remain leading the team?
Nets owner Joe Tsai said they’re here to stay and publicly announced his support for the staff.
But if Durant and Irving really don’t like working with these men then something will have to change.
It is very hard for a team to succeed if its two biggest stars don’t care for the coaching staff.
It is possible to put their differences aside and work through any negative emotions but, right now, it feels like that isn’t likely considering just how much Durant (and possibly Irving) want to depart.
Maybe everyone really does like one another but maybe these relationships are damaged beyond repair.
