The Brooklyn Nets are now officially the hottest team in the National Basketball Association.
Winners of 12 straight, Jacque Vaughn‘s squad is finally making the headlines for the right reasons.
Unsurprisingly, the Nets’ offense has produced plenty of highlights during their twelve-game winning streak, with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving at the helm.
Nonetheless, no one expected Kyrie to make the rounds for an emphatic putback dunk, but that was exactly the case during their game vs. the San Antonio Spurs.

Needless to say, even his teammates were in awe of what they witnessed when Kyrie took flight:
“I’m like this close to getting tired of people downplaying my athleticism at times in that locker room,” Irving said after the game. “I’m like this close. On a serious note, I’m glad I can have those types of plays at times to galvanize the group. Glad it went in. Good timing. I’ve been working on my body for the last year and a half two years especially recovering from that traumatic ankle injury I had during the 2021 playoffs I just felt like I didn’t have my feet underneath me at the end of last season so coming into this season I definitely put an emphasis on being more on my toes and getting stronger and my foundational base. If you wanted to know the scientific aspect of that.”
Well, Kyrie has never been known for his poster dunks, but it’s not like he’s needed that to be one of the league’s finest entertainers.
