Brooklyn Nets star guard Kyrie Irving has a way of rubbing people the wrong way.
Whether it be his conspiracy theories about the shape of the planet, his COVID vaccine stance, his disgruntled relationships with past teams, or his vacation time to focus on himself, Irving has upset just about every NBA fan in one way or another.
But, according to him, Irving is all about love and respect.
it’s time to focus on the LOVE out here. ♾🤞🏾

The All-Star hopped on Twitter to spread positivity, saying, “it’s time to focus on the LOVE out here.”
That’s a nice mentality and it’s great to hear that Irving is at peace and feeling the love.
However, fans of his team are hoping that he’s also focused on working hard and making up for lost time.
Rebuilding Bridges In Brooklyn
Some loyal Nets followers are downright exhausted with Irving.
During the last year, Irving missed most of the season because of his refusal to get the COVID vaccine, then returned in time to watch his team get swept in the first round of playoffs.
This was all followed by numerous reports of him attempting to leave the team for the west coast and the open arms of LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.
That’s not happening – Irving will remain in Brooklyn for the upcoming season but he’ll need to double down to make things right with the fanbase.
They want to see Irving work and work hard.
More than anything, they want to see wins.
Irving is still a wonderful basketball player and the Nets can be a dominant team.
If he doesn’t deliver this year, Irving will be feeling the opposite of love from the Brooklyn faithful.
