Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray finally clarified his side after that incident of deleting all but two photos on his Instagram account.
The 24-year-old quarterback released a statement through his agent, Erik Burkhardt, as tweeted by NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.

However, it seems odd that the press release is addressed to Cardinals fans and not the team itself.
Is there still a rift going on between the quarterback and the franchise?
While the entire statement is lengthy, Murray wanted to make two points clear.
First, he wants to be the long-term quarterback for the Cardinals.
Second, he longs to win a Super Bowl with Arizona.
Having him back will make the Cardinals playoff contenders in the NFC.
But for them to make a deep playoff run, they must make necessary adjustments on both sides of the ball.
Otherwise, teams like the Los Angeles Rams will easily defeat them.
The Ball Is In The Cardinals’ Court
With Murray stating his intentions, it’s time for the team to act upon the quarterback’s requests.
In some ways, the statement sounds like a summary of the impending contract negotiations involving both parties.
Everything starts with a long-term extension for Murray and his camp already sent a proposal to the Cardinals on what that deal will look like.
That said, part of the proposed deal is a lower cap number for Murray in the 2022 season to allow the team to sign players.
It’s a good thing that there are not many positions of need they must address given their stacked roster.
However, they could use some help in the secondary and in the wide receiver position.
The Rams nearly blanked them possibly because they didn’t have DeAndre Hopkins playing.
If the Cardinals want to secure their quarterback for the long haul, they better act upon these demands.
