After a strong first season with the Philadelphia Phillies, Kyle Schwarber has decided to take his talents to the World Baseball Classic next spring, representing Team USA.
After being cancelled in 2021, the legendary event will be making its triumphant return in 2023.
Team USA won the title back in 2017 and will be looking to defend that title next spring with yet another star-studded roster.
Schwarber joins Phillies teammates Bryce Harper, J.T. Realmuto, and Trea Turner on the WBC roster.
On Twitter, MLB announced the news of Schwarber’s commitment to Team USA, posting a cool graphic featuring the slugger and Team USA’s trademark slogan, “All In.”
