Knicks Fan Account Makes Sad Statement About NYC Basketball

Just a few weeks ago, everyone in New York was piling on the New York Knicks and their abysmal season – especially when compared to the Brooklyn Nets who were finding much more success.

While the Nets were still struggling, they weren’t doing nearly as bad as the Knicks, who had no chance at the playoffs for weeks – if not months – now.

However, one Knicks fan made a painfully accurate point following Boston’s first-round sweep of Brooklyn.

As pointed out by KnicksMuse, the Knicks and Nets won the same amount of playoffs games in the 2021-22 NBA season.

In other words, neither team won a single postseason game.

Ouch.

Will these two teams have better luck next year?

Fans throughout New York are hoping that next season is radically different for both teams.

For Brooklyn, fans are hoping that injuries are much easier on the team.

If Ben Simmons actually plays and Irving and Durant stay healthy, the team could actually fulfill its promise.

As for the Knicks, fans are hoping that the entire team is blown up and rebuilt over the next few months.

There is no doubt that the Knicks are about to undergo some big changes but it remains to be seen what those changes are.

Will head coach Tom Thibodeau be given the heave-ho?

Will Julius Randle and other star players be traded away?

Obviously, something big has to happen – what will it be?

By this time next year, both of these teams could be looking much better.

And both of them could perhaps be participating in the playoffs.

This season didn’t end like fans had expected but there is a good chance next season could.

Knicks fans don’t want the entire team to be rebuilt. We just want to build on our youth and move Randle. Our long term outlooks is much brighter than the Nets.
