Fans of the Golden State Warriors weren’t too happy with how Wednesday night turned out for their team.
The Warriors got blown out in a major way by the Memphis Grizzlies, falling 134-95 in Game 5.
Some fans of the Golden State thought Game 5 would be the last one of the series but it ended up being a huge speed bump on the Warriors’ way to the Western Conference Finals.
But don’t worry, says Klay Thompson, because things are about to get better.
Game 6 Klay is coming.

Following the embarrassing loss, Thompson has some encouraging words for the legion of Warriors fans.
“I just know we’ll be much better Friday,” Thompson said.
He better hope so because if that doesn’t happen, the Warriors are in serious, serious trouble.
Trouble they’ve been in before.
A Humiliating Repeat?
Anyone who follows the NBA knows that only one team has given up a 3-1 leading the Finals: the Golden State Warriors.
The team was up 3-1 over LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers and seemingly had an easy path to the Larry O’Brien trophy.
Then they dropped the ball again and again and again.
Since then, the team has tried to live down that disappointment and they definitely don’t want a repeat of that humiliation.
The Warriors have been tuned in and laser-focused all postseason so it was surprising to see them lose in such a major way on Wednesday night.
You can bet they are re-watching the game, tweaking their lineup, and getting their minds and bodies ready for Friday night.
This could be the end of the Western Conference semifinals for the Warriors – or it could be another major misstep.
