LeBron James and his Los Angeles Lakers were in Cleveland Monday night taking on the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Since it was the return of James, a local hero, the crowd was on its feet.
But one person on his back was Cavs big man Kevin Love, who happened to go toe-to-toe with his old friend.
James decimated Love with an impressive, powerful dunk that left Love reeling.
After the game, he had just a few words about King James.
I’m not f*cking with my guy @KingJames for atleast the next 48hrs!!!! 😂😂😂

Taking to Twitter, Love said “I’m not (expletive) with my guy King James for at least the next 48 hrs!!!!”
It’s good to see that Love is taking the dunk in stride and has some humor about it because the way that James leaped over him was downright disrespectful.
Old Friends
James and Love go way back and have been friends ever since they played together for the championship Cavs back in 2016.
Of course, James left the team a few years later to join the Lakers but Love remained in Cleveland.
For a few years, the team struggled mightily without James.
But things have changed and they are now doing better than they have in a few seasons.
In fact, the Cavs are actually doing far better than the Lakers right now and they have an all-but assured spot in this year’s playoffs.
Through it all, Love has stuck it out with the team and knew that brighter days were ahead.
For his part, he’s playing better than he has in years too, and is an important part of the squad’s major rebuild.
So while he was the butt of the joke on Monday because of the dunk on him, he’s getting the last laugh with his up-and-coming team.
