It’s been a while since Cleveland Cavaliers star Kevin Love and Los Angeles Clippers head coach Ty Lue worked together.
Despite that, there is still nothing but pure love between these two NBA greats.
That love was on full display Monday night as Love and his former coach met courtside to huge and share some heartfelt words to one another as the Cavs took on the Clippers.

Love and Lue were huge parts of the championship Cavaliers team that still holds a special place in the hearts of Cleveland fans everywhere.
It also comes at a time when both Love and Lue are finding success once again.
Love & Lue
The 2016 Cavaliers team was something special.
Led by LeBron James, the team went on to take down the Golden State Warriors and win their first NBA championship.
Impressively, the team was the first in Finals history to successfully overcome a 3-1 deficit, a fact that is still celebrated to this day.
Love and Lue had a close relationship during that time and they still remain very fond of each other.
Meanwhile, they are both enjoying themselves on their respective teams.
Love is still playing for the resurgent Cavs and doing some of the best work of his career.
As for Lue, his Clippers are doing better than expected despite losing both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George due to injuries.
Both teams are most likely heading to the postseason, although the Clippers will have more of a fight to get there.
Love and Lue have always been quiet, understated stars – never too flashy or showy and rarely wearing their emotions on their sleeves.
Their reunion on Monday was a nice chance to see them smiling together again.
