The New York Knicks had a very bad night on Wednesday and Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant was ready to roast them and their fans because of it.
New York City was abuzz because the Knicks were playing against the Nets at Madison Square Garden, a rare instance that could help prove which team is superior.
The Knicks seemed to be running circles around the Nets, who were short Durant, Kyrie Irving, and their newcomer Ben Simmons.
They even had a 28-point lead and looked well on their way to victory.
Then, they choked and the Nets eventually won 111-106, which generated quite a response from the fans – something Durant poked fun at.
Nets fans were loud in the barc….I mean the garden tonight

After the game, Durant tweeted “Nets fans were loud in the barc….I mean the garden tonight.”
The Garden has long been known as one of the loudest, most enthusiastic arenas in all of the NBA.
But they had little to be enthusiastic about at the end of Wednesday’s game – and some of them really might have been converted to being Nets fans.
Nets Run New York?
No matter the fact that they have bigger stars and a better record, the Nets are still considered second fiddle to the Knicks in New York.
NYC has always been a devoted sports city and they stand by their Knicks through thick and thin.
But the Nets haven’t been this good in a long, long time and they’re really making a run to be the dominant team in town.
Meanwhile, the Knicks – who had a great previous season and started this year strongly – have fallen apart.
Durant’s tweet was making light of the game but there was some truth to it: New York fans are tired of losing and some of them are contemplating changing their allegiance to Brooklyn.
