A lot of people have been talking a lot of trash about Kevin Durant of the Brooklyn Nets lately.
You can understand where the anger is coming from because Durant’s latest demand to leave the Nets has been controversial at best and selfish and short-sighted at worst.
However, one should never confuse Durant’s prickly personality with a lack of skills.
Even though he might rub some people the wrong way, Durant is still a bonafide superstar who leads every team he joins.
That is not hyperbole: Durant really has become the points-per-game leader for each squad he’s played on.
PPG leaders for a franchise (since the merger):

Warriors — Durant (25.8)
Nets — Durant (28.7)One of the best scorers we’ve ever seen. pic.twitter.com/2CzFH8CHkp

He averaged 27.4 with the Oklahoma City Thunder, 25.8 with the Golden State Warriors, and 28.7 with his current Brooklyn Nets.
Durant becomes an unstoppable force no matter the team he plays for and is proving that he’s definitely one of the greatest scorers in NBA history.
Durant Doing It
If you have been following the drama around Durant lately you have surely seen that the Nets are demanding a lot in exchange for him.
When you look at his numbers and the way that he leads any team he signs on with, you can understand why that is.
Durant is an NBA superstar on a whole other level.
It is especially impressive that he was the best scorer on the Warriors considering he was playing alongside two of the best shooters in the history of the league, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.
But that’s just what Durant does: he dominates.
Sure, he makes some people angry and even fans have a hard time trusting him but no one who watches the game can deny his skill.
