Say what you want about Kevin Durant of the Brooklyn Nets but you can’t deny that the guy loves basketball.
In fact, some people say that all he does is think about the game.
There have long been rumors that Durant doesn’t do much else but live and breathe and think about basketball.
Therefore, you should take his advice when discussing the subject.
Shoot the next one. Your teammates gotta lock in on defense until the flurry is over and then they can get some shots up https://t.co/GZbMDnMcwu

That’s what recently happened when a fan asked for some input from the former MVP.
The fan took to Twitter and asked if he should keep attempting shots on the court when making four out of five over two to three defenders.
This fan said that his teammates are accusing him of taking “bad shots” and he wanted to know Durant’s feelings on the subject.
Durant kept it simple: “Shoot the next one. Your teammates gotta lock in on defense until the flurry is over and then they can get some shots up,” Durant said.
That’s sound advice from Durant and obviously a concept he holds near and dear to his heart.
Back In Brooklyn
It’s not surprising that Durant is encouraging his fan to take the shot, because that’s exactly what he does.
Durant is known as a player who is most comfortable playing iso-ball, one-on-one with his opponent.
However, lately, he’s become more of a team leader with the Nets.
With the absence of Kyrie Irving and James Harden this year, Durant has had to be the point leader, facilitator, and heart and soul of the team too.
He’s still the soft-spoken future Hall of Famer but he’s transformed into so much more of a team leader too.
Anyone who wants advice about the game would be wise to listen to Durant.
