The Brooklyn Nets have been going through an incredibly rough patch lately and have gone 3-15 in their last 18 games.
A large part of their downward slide is because they are missing their biggest star, Kevin Durant.
Durant has been sidelined for more than six weeks because of a sprained MCL in his left knee.
Without Durant at the helm, the team has seemed helpless, sloppy, and hopeless.
But their time without Durant has come to an end.
Nets star Kevin Durant is expected to return Thursday vs. Miami. He was not listed on injury report today.

It is being reported that Durant is expected to return to the floor for Thursday’s game against the number one seed Miami Heat.
If he comes back and is in fine form, this could be the beginning of a huge Nets turnaround.
New Look Nets
A lot about the Nets has changed since Durant went down all those weeks ago.
The biggest development is that former teammate James Harden is no longer with the squad, having been traded to the Philadelphia 76ers.
In his place, the Nets now have Ben Simmons on their roster, although he is also out because of injury.
Durant had already proven himself as the team’s leader before he got injured and that leadership will be pivotal now.
Kyrie Irving is still only playing away games and the rest of the squad is looking for a lynchpin to hold everything together.
With his scoring prowess, spacing abilities, and basketball expertise, Durant is the missing piece that will make the team whole again.
However, if the team continues to keep losing games even with Durant, the Nets faithful are going to panic.
For weeks now, people have been holding their breaths saying that things will turn around when Durant is back on the floor.
Now that he’s back, it’s time for the Nets to wow their fans again.
