Everyone knows that Kevin Durant of the Brooklyn Nets loves to see certain NBA analysts get dunked on.
Durant shows no mercy and hides no joy when people like Skip Bayless or Stephen A. Smith have a hard time on national television.
That’s exactly what happened on Tuesday when Smith got into with JJ Redick and CJ McCollum.
The three were part of a discussion about new Lakers head coach Darvin Ham and Russell Westbrook.
After Smith let his opinion be known, both Redick and McCollum challenged him and it felt like a pile-on that Smith could barely keep up with.
Steve can’t beat up on max Kellerman the boxing guy and the new baseball guy “mad dog” or whatever his name is? I’m locked in now https://t.co/06sVFRJv1s

Durant was all about it, posting: “Steve can’t beat up on max Kellerman the boxing guy and the new baseball guy “mad dog” or whatever his name is? I’m locked in now.”
It sounds like Durant will be a constant ESPN viewer if Smith keeps getting into these arguments on air.
Durant Loving It
Durant has a lot of free time on his hands these days since the Nets have been out of the playoffs since the first round.
His days are probably spent in the gym, getting ready for a new season and, yes, watching TV.
Luckily for Durant, the hot takes have been flying lately but Smith has been challenged more than ever before.
This is mostly due to Redick, who recently became a very popular analyst on ESPN.
The former player isn’t afraid of making his opinion known and has made it obvious that the old guard of ESPN won’t be running the place any longer.
It has led to some explosive moments and conversations like the one that made Durant so happy.
Expect many more of them in the weeks and months ahead.
