After a truly rough start, the Brooklyn Nets are looking much, much better.
The team once sat toward the bottom of the Eastern Conference but they are now the 4th team in the East with a 16-12 record and have won three games in a row.
They have really come together and actually look competitive and smart and capable of making the playoffs.
The entire team is playing well now but one player has been great since day one: Kevin Durant, of course.

Durant playing good basketball isn’t surprising but looking at his number is still a shocking lesson in greatness.
For 2022-23, he is averaging 30 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists a game while shooting 56% from the field, 34% from three, and 92% from the free-throw line.
He has the best field goal percentage by a player with more than 30 points per game and leads the league in both points and leads his team in assists too.
Durant just doesn’t stop and he doesn’t let up and he’s now playing with a team that can actually keep up with him.
KD And His Team
A lot has changed recently for the Brooklyn Nets.
They obviously got a new head coach and the reentry of Seth Curry after injury was a huge help to them too.
They are finally playing like a real team that reads one another, plays with speed and efficiency, and can actually play defense too.
How long will this last?
Are the new-look Nets here to stay?
That’s what fans are hoping for: they want the rest of the team to continue to improve and follow the spot-on coaching and they definitely want Durant to continue to perform as he usually does.
No one has to worry about that: Durant isn’t going to slow down now.
