Kevin Durant of the Phoenix Suns is one of the most outspoken stars in the NBA.
It doesn’t matter what the subject is, Durant is never afraid of making his opinion known.
Former player and current NBA analyst Charles Barkley is also very opinionated and paid great sums to speak his thoughts.
And these two NBA icons don’t always get along.
Speaking on the Boardroom podcast, Durant touched upon his frequent back-and-forth bickering with Barkley.
“He’s a f—–g legend that I’ve got nothing but respect for,” Durant said, according to theScore.
He added, “That ain’t got nothing to do with how he is as an analyst. I don’t agree with how he approaches the game as a Hall of Famer. His game as an analyst, I don’t really f— with your approach. That’s my opinion on you just like your opinion on us.”
KD may be a fan of Chuck the player, but he's definitely not a fan of Chuck the analyst. 😳 https://t.co/sgZIHTMsfF pic.twitter.com/0JqTNAaTAx

Durant and Barkley have butted heads multiple times but the latest and biggest blowup came when Barkley referred to Durant as a “bus rider” instead of a “bus driver.”
In Barkley’s analogy, Durant isn’t the type of player who is in charge of his team but rather someone passive who just goes along and doesn’t lead.
Durant has taken issue with that opinion multiple times.
The bus rider comment is definitely not going to be the last one that gets under Durant’s skin.
And he will always let Barkley, and others, know when he’s bothered by what has been said.
For his part, Durant seems to still like Barkley even with their disagreements.
On the podcast, Durant refused to refer to their difference of opinions as a “beef.”
It’s clear he respects the man and all he’s done for the league.
He just really doesn’t see eye to eye with him.
