Kevin Durant has now played two games with his new team, the Phoenix Suns.
That only gives us a small sample size but one thing is clear: he is still one of the best players in the league.
During this time, Durant has averaged 21.5 points a game.
Kevin Durant passed Oscar Robertson for 13th on the NBA's all-time scoring list tonight.

Because of that, Durant has secured yet another place in NBA history.
On Friday night, Durant passed Oscar Robertson for 13th on the NBA’s all-time scoring list.
As noted by ESPN Stats & Info, Durant’s rise through the ranks has been lightning-fast this year: he started the season as 21st and passed by Alex English, Vince Carter, Kevin Garnett, John Havlicek, Paul Pierce, Tim Dunance, and Dominique Wilkins before passing by Robertson on Friday.
This is just the latest honor for Durant, who has a storied and legendary career already.
He is a 13-time All-Star, a four-time scoring champion, a two-time Finals MVP, and has two championship rings too.
Durant is inarguably one of the most impactful stars in the NBA.
And now that he is playing for the Suns, Durant has the potential to become a three-time champion.
Phoenix is the fourth-best team in the West right now with a 35-29 record.
Their plan is to make the Finals and with Durant on board that just might be possible.
In fact, anything short of that might be considered a disappointment by many because expectations for this new-look team are sky-high.
Durant is coming off a pretty rough injury but it looks like he is quickly getting back into the swing of things.
He is again earning his place in NBA history but he has his sights set firmly on the approaching postseason.
