Kevin Durant of the Brooklyn Nets has been spending a lot of time on Twitter since being eliminated in the first round of the playoffs.
This has led to some funny clap backs at fans and some public commenting on hot button issues.
It’s also resulted in Durant reacting to wild videos making the rounds online.
Bring a flare to an nba game if you want and you might be in rikers https://t.co/ZK3UwReq5s

The latest was a clip of Euro League basketball fans cheering on their team while holding flares in an arena.
It is definitely something you don’t see often here in the states – and with good reason.
As Durant said, “Bring a flare to an NBA game if you want and you might be in rikers.”
That’s a pretty fair point from Durant.
Summer Vacation
Durant has just started an unexpectedly long summer break.
His Nets suffered a devastating loss right at the start of the playoffs.
In fact, they were swept by the Boston Celtics in the first round.
If you’ll remember, many people predicted the Nets could make the Finals this year but things didn’t work out that way.
Between the Kyrie Irving COVID vaccine drama, Ben Simmons sitting on the bench, and Durant getting injured and sidelined for weeks, the Nets were a total mess for months.
However, brighter days may be ahead for the troubled team.
When next season begins, Durant, Irving, Simmons, and the rest of the squad should be ready to battle it out and prove their worth.
That means that at this time next year, the Nets could be in a totally different situation than they are now.
Durant should get all the R&R he can right now because his next season might be a busy one.
