Former Pittsburgh Panthers quarterback Kenny Pickett made news during the NFL Scouting Combine for the wrong reasons.
Instead of scouts and executives assessing his skills, the discussion about him revolved around his hands.
His palms measured 8 4/8 inches at that time, which would have been the smallest among active pro quarterbacks.
The measurement grew by 1/8 inches during his Pro Day, but teams are still backing off because of that measurement.
However, he did enough to impress some teams that PFF Bet shares where Pickett will likely land in the 2022 NFL Draft.

The tweet shared information from FanDuel Sportsbook that Pickett has +175 odds to be chosen by the Carolina Panthers.
For the uninitiated, that number means that someone must bet $175 to win $100.
Likewise, negative odds dictate scenarios that will likely happen.
Therefore, FanDuel remains cautious that Carolina will select Pickett.
The Panthers’ search for a quarterback remains after a roller-coaster 2021 season.
Sam Darnold started strong but fizzled when Christian McCaffrey got injured.
They tried bringing back former league MVP Cam Newton, but that move did not yield good results.
Carolina also tried P.J. Walker to the same effect.
In the end, the Panthers finished a 5-12 after a 3-0 start.
At number six in the 2022 draft, they are in a position to select one of the top quarterback prospects.
Why Choose Pickett?
The Marketing major from New Jersey finished his college football career on a high note.
Aside from becoming ACC Offensive Player of the Year, he was also ACC Player of the Year, and First-Team All-ACC in 2021.
Pickett was also a First-Team All-American and the recipient of the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award in the same year.
He finished his fifth year in Pittsburgh with 4,319 yards, 42 touchdowns, and only seven interceptions.
The Panthers also finished with an 11-2 record, the school’s best finish since 1976.
