They could not care less about him playing only five games for the Detroit Lions in 2020, finishing with 338 yards and two touchdowns.
The Giants banked on having the Golladay that had 1,000-yard seasons in 2018 and 2019.
Unfortunately, the former Northern Illinois standout is yet to deliver since he joined the Giants.
He played 14 games last season and had 521 receiving yards.
Worst yet, he did not have a touchdown catch, making him a member of an unfortunate group.

NFL on CBS took note of the marquee players that had two receiving touchdowns since the start of the 2020 season.
Wide receiver Dez Bryant played 11 NFL seasons, the last one in 2020 with the Baltimore Ravens.
That year, he had 47 receiving yards and two scores in six games.
The year before, he did not play at all for the New Orleans Saints due to injury.
At age 33, the three-time Pro Bowler and one-time All-Pro may have seen his last game in the NFL.
Meanwhile, Witten retired twice in his 17-season career.
He retired after the 2017 season to join the Monday Night Football team.
Four years later, he retired for good after signing a one-day contract with the Dallas Cowboys, where he spent 16 seasons as a tight end.
Witten had 69 yards and two touchdowns in 16 games in his lone year with the Las Vegas Raiders.
Golladay In Danger Of Being Cut?
Before the 2022 season starts, teams have to whittle their rosters to 53 active players.
In that case, Golladay has offered little to retain his position.
He only had one catch for six yards in two games played, which could spell trouble for his prospects.
With head coach Brian Daboll being an offensive-minded mentor, he wants what’s best on that side of the ball.
Unfortunately, Golladay hasn’t proven that he is not up to the task, making him a potential casualty.
