The New York Giants are still waiting for their investment in wide receiver Kenny Golladay to pay off.
Three seasons ago, he led the league in receiving touchdowns with 11.
While he had only played five games for the Detroit Lions in 2020, the Giants signed him to a four-year, $72 million contract.
His first year in New York was a disappointment after finishing with 521 yards and zero touchdowns.
Unfortunately, his struggles with the Giants continue into the 2022 season.

Blogging The Boys Managing Editor RJ Ochoa tweeted, “Passes caught from New York Giants QB Daniel Jones on Monday night: Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs – 1 Giants, WR Kenny Golladay – 0″
In two games, Golladay has two receptions for 22 yards and zero touchdowns.
Both his catches came against the Tennessee Titans.
Golladay was targeted three times versus the Dallas Cowboys but did not make a catch.
Even running back Saquon Barkley has more receiving yards than him.
He also ranks fourth among Giants receivers in terms of yards, behind Richie James, Sterling Shepard, and David Sills V.
Worst yet, his touchdown drought continues into Week 3 of the 2022 season.
Golladay On The Way Out?
It was former Giants general manager Dave Gettleman who acquired Golladay and gave him a massive payday.
However, he is not living up to his contract, making the Giants’ situation worse.
But new general manager Joe Schoen has started to get rid of the bad deals Gettleman initiated.
Therefore, Golladay has his days in New York numbered.
The Giants are at a disadvantage because the wideout’s performance will not give him an attractive haul of picks or players.
Instead, they will have to continue paying a portion of his salary to get him out, if they find a trade partner.
