Atlanta Braves closer Kenley Jansen, not unlike Freddie Freeman, is adjusting to a change of scenery with a different ballclub and getting used to his new surroundings.
Jansen was back at Dodger Stadium to play his first series against his old club, the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Interestingly, Freeman, a longtime Brave, is now playing his first series against his old club as well.
The two of them essentially switched places.
Jansen was asked about how it felt to be back at Dodger Stadium as a member of the Braves and said he got lost on his way to the visitors clubhouse.
Kenley Jansen said he got lost going to the visitors clubhouse at Dodger Stadium.
“It’s weird, man. It’s weird.”

New Places, New Faces
Obviously, change takes getting used to and Jansen is feeling the full effects of joining a new team.
It had to have felt weird to go to the other clubhouse in his old stomping grounds, but Jansen had a hilarious and perfect response to the newness of the situation.
It’s hard to get used to new surroundings and a new environment.
Jansen is just going through the process of adapting to that new environment.
It’s understandable that he got lost on his way to the clubhouse.
It’s hard not to after he spent so many years in the other clubhouse as a member of the Dodgers.
Again, it’s almost as if he and Freeman simply swapped places.
Perhaps it felt weird to be on the other side of a Dodgers victory as well.
He’s so used to closing out games for the Dodgers that it probably felt a bit odd to be on the other side of it.
In time, he’ll get used to being with the Braves.
