Anyone who follows the NBA knows that the Los Angeles Lakers are having one tough season.
After hopes of them making the Finals only a few months ago, the team is now struggling to even make the NBA Play-In Tournament.
That means that the Lakers stand a chance of not even making the playoffs this year.
Yes, even with LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, Anthony Davis (most of the time), Carmelo Anthony, and a slew of young, talented players, the Lakers are still in shambles.
Former NBA player and current analyst Kendrick Perkins has an idea of how the team can make itself better.
Hey @Lakers y’all need to sign @isaiahthomas back! I mean the man is only averaging 50 in the GLeague right now. At least he’s going to show some damn heart and passion! Don’t mind me tho and Carry on…

Taking to Twitter, Perkins recommended that LA sign Isaiah Thomas, who is currently back in the G League after returning to the NBA for a few weeks, including with the Lakers.
As Perkins notes, Thomas is creating incredible stats in the G League.
During his return, Thomas dropped 45 points, tying a league record.
Would he really help the Lakers in their time of need?
IT In LA
Thomas back on the Lakers wouldn’t be a bad idea, especially if he’s producing even a fraction of what he’s doing in the G League.
While it’s unlikely that Thomas would create 45 points every night, even a dozen or so nightly could greatly help the Lakers who need help offensively, defensively, and in just about every way.
Thomas could help take some of the pressure off of Westbrook, whose shooting has been inconsistent all year.
It’s obvious that LA is trying to refine their shooting skills since the latest rumors have them signing DJ Augustin, who is known for his three-point skills.
If the team could sign Thomas for a cheap contract, it really would make sense for them to take another chance on him.
An Update On IT
Thomas is reportedly signing a 10-day deal with the Charlotte Hornets.

But if that deal expires without a new one, the Lakers could still take Perkins’ advice.
