For much of the 2022-23 NBA season, people have been very underwhelmed by the Los Angeles Clippers.
This was because of their lackluster start and minimal output from the team’s two biggest stars, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.
But those players have been looking healthier and better over the last few weeks.
They were back on the court together on Thursday night and led their team to a 138-100 victory over the San Antonio Spurs.

George posted 35 points, 7 assists, and 4 rebounds on 73% from the field while Leonard was good for 27 points, 7 assists, and 3 rebounds with a 62% field goal percentage.
This was the fourth consecutive game that featured both Leonard and George, which is the best news of all.
Not surprisingly, Thursday night also marked their fourth consecutive win.
For the last few months, fans of the team have been waiting patiently to finally get both of these athletes together in fine form again.
You have to remember that Leonard and George have been with the Clippers for several years now but the team has still fallen short repeatedly.
This season was seen as the best chance the Clippers had of turning it all around and achieving postseason greatness.
But the lack of games for both players was concerning, leading some to wonder if 2022-23 would be a disappointment just like the last few years.
The Clippers have recently been acquiring a few important wins and have climbed to fifth place in the West.
That means they still have a way to go but things are coming together for the team.
If Leonard and George continue to play well and play together, the Clippers could climb even higher.
