The Minnesota Vikings struck gold with Justin Jefferson.
It’s crazy to think that he was the 22nd overall pick, but it’s crazier to realize that he was actually the fifth receiver taken in his class.
Jefferson has done nothing but shatter records in his brief career, even topping both Randy Moss and Cris Carter in both receptions and yards in a season in Vikings history.
He also led the league in both categories this season, hauling in 128 receptions for a whopping 1,809 yards, nearly 100 more than the player who came in second place.

Jefferson has already made a case for being considered a top-3 wide receiver in the league, and he was also a Fantasy Football league winner for millions of fans all over the world.
Nonetheless, and as historically dominant as the LSU product was, New York Giants CB Xavier McKinney believes they can shut him down in their playoff matchup:
“Yeah, he’s been shut down before,” McKinney said. “So yeah. “Just how he puts on all his [clothes], we do the same thing. We’ve got really good [defensive backs]. I’m not worried about it at all. He’s a good player. He’s going to make plays. But he’s not somebody that we haven’t seen be stopped before. We’ve seen it. I’ve seen it. So we’ll be all right. He’s human just how we’re human. So that’s how we treat it.”
Of course, that’ll be way easier said than done, even though Packers star Jaire Alexandre may have given rival teams a blueprint as to how to contain the dynamic wideout.
