Justin Fields is already eying himself some weapons for the 2023 season.
The Chicago Bears quarterback enters his third season with his team needing some playmakers.
While the Bears have plenty of cap room to get him help, he wants one player in 2023 to provide him with the help he needs.
During his interview with Mackenzie Salmon, he let the NFL world know who he wants.
While he was on Radio Row, Fields reveals how he wants wide receiver Tee Higgins to join the Bears.
Fields reveals how it “would be awesome” if the Bears got Higgins in a trade deal from the Cincinnati Bengals.
He continues with a nugget on how the two players are “part of the same agency.”
With the two seeing each other during the offseason in workouts, Fields has some first-hand experience with Higgins.
However, landing the star receiver from the Bengals might be an impossible dream.
When the Bengals receiver was questioned about trade rumors on Pro Football Talk, he made it clear he wants to stay in Cincinnati.
"I know what I got internally with the organization. I love Cincinnati and I love being there and hopefully I'm there for most of my career." – @teehiggins5 on @ProFootballTalk

With his team reaching two consecutive AFC Championship games, no one can blame him for wanting to stay in Cincinnati.
Being in Cincinnati with Joe Burrow has seen him produce solid numbers each season.
With him being from the same draft class as Burrow, the two already have a standing connection.
This connection is something that he wishes to keep, despite the desire of Fields wanting to lure him to Chicago.
However, if the former Ohio State quarterback can pull off some magic, the Bears fan base would love having Higgins on their team.
