The Chicago Bears have struggled as of late with three consecutive losses.
They’ve averaged less than 14 points per game in those defeats while surrendering 20.3 points per game over that stretch.
But while they are finding it difficult to score victories lately, Bears quarterback Justin Fields is receiving praise from one of the best coaches in NFL history.

NFL Network’s Mike Giardi tweeted, “Bill Belichick on #Bears QB Justin Fields ‘(he) is a major threat every time he touches the ball.’ #Patriots.”
The Bears and the New England Patriots will face each other in Week 7.
Fields is a part of the new school of NFL quarterbacks that possesses mobility and throwing ability.
Ideally, his skill set will help the Bears improve their record since his arrival.
Unfortunately, things haven’t worked well for him and the squad.
They have lost four of their first six games while putting up just 15.5 points per game.
Meanwhile, Fields has a 54.8 percent completion rate and has more interceptions (five) than touchdown passes (four).
While he does have the skill set to dominate games, the Bears haven’t put his talent to good use.
Belichick Already Has A Plan For Fields
While the longtime Patriots mentor is giving praise to his opponent, he has already dissected his nuances.
That level of preparation is a part of Belichick’s success.
He knows that stopping Fields will cripple the Bears’ attack.
Therefore, Belichick already has a blueprint against Fields, and he will try to implement it in their game.
Last week, the Patriots stuffed the box to limit Nick Chubb‘s runs.
The strategy worked as the Patriots handily defeated the Cleveland Browns, 38-15.
Fields is next in line, and Belichick’s strategy can frustrate the young quarterback.
