Deadline day has brought a ton of excitement around the game of baseball.
Several notable players have been dealt to different teams as those in contention try to make a push for October with some final additions.
Juan Soto was the biggest name on the block.
Now, both he and his teammate Josh Bell will be joining the San Diego Padres, strengthening an already imposing lineup.
With two more months left in the season, the Padres look scary with all the firepower in their lineup.
Soto has drawn a ton of walks during his career, which usually prompts the famed “Soto shuffle.”
Codify tweeted that if he walks five more times this year, he’ll have more walks than any other player in baseball history before his 24th birthday.

Juan Soto: Walks Machine
At this point, it’s just a formality.
There will be several moments where teams may not want to pitch to Soto and choose to issue the intentional pass.
And if not, there’s a full two months left in the season for him to draw five more walks.
It’s going to happen at some point.
It could even happen this week if he gets lucky.
Soto is such an imposing presence in the batter’s box and will certainly draw a few more walks this season.
This guy can flat out hit, but he’s also an incredibly patient hitter who draws a ton of walks.
This is what makes him such a complete hitter.
It’s only a matter of time now before Soto draws just a few more walks.
After that, he’ll have made some baseball history.
We’ll see how long it takes him to ultimately do it.
