Josh Naylor Had All Of Cleveland Fired Up Monday Night

It was a wild night to say the least for the Cleveland Guardians.

Down 8-2 in the top of the ninth inning against the Chicago White Sox, the Guardians began to chip away.

With two outs and the bases loaded, Josh Naylor, who had already driven in a run, came to the plate, and with one swing the game was tied and the crowd at Guaranteed Rate Field went dead silent.

Fast forward to the 11th, two runners on and two outs with the game tied at nine, Naylor did it again, this time belting a three-run homer that put the Guardians ahead 12-9, where they would stay and hold on for the win.

Naylor finished the night with eight RBI.

The Human Tornado Strikes Again

There’s a reason to be fired up right now if you’re a fan of the Guardians.

They just came back from a six-run deficit in the top of the ninth against a team that won 93 games a year ago and cruised to an AL Central division title, and at the center of it all was Naylor and his historic night.

The fact that he didn’t even drive in his first run until the top of the eighth is even more impressive.

He was 0-for-2 up to that point, but he showed that it’s never too late to get hot and put together a historic night.

It was quite a show put on by “The Human Tornado,” as they call him.

This man led the Guardians to overcome all odds to pull off a stunning victory.

How could you draw it up any better if you’re Naylor?

What a comeback by the Guardians.
