The Las Vegas Raiders have shown they are all-in during the up coming 2022 NFL season.
They made a trade to get Davante Adams, one of the best receivers in the NFL during the 2021 season.
It now pairs Derek Carr up with his former teammate from Fresno State.
But the biggest gamble the Raiders made was hiring Josh McDaniels.
McDaniels was the offensive coordinator for the New England Patriots.
That makes him part of the Bill Belichick coaching tree.
Some of those coaches under Belichick have seen success, while others have failed.
However, with the team he has in Las Vegas, McDaniels is aiming to become the next Belichick.
Before He Can Establish His Legacy In Vegas, He Needs To Overcome His Past
Coaching under Belichick can be a blessing and a curse.
The curse is around McDaniels’ neck from his past with the Patriots and brief time as head coach in Denver.
During his first run with the Patriots, the team was accused of filming opposing teams’ defensive signals.
While the team and Belichick were fined, McDaniels wasn’t part of the group facing punishment for doing these things.
However, a story would come out of Denver that would change things for him.
He was caught having people film the San Francisco 49ers pre-game walk though in London.
The story would be known as Spygate II.
Spygate II? Denver Broncos under investigation by NFL (would make a lot sense, head coach Josh McDaniels is a former Patriots assistant)

People could now assume that the man behind all the espionage in New England was McDaniels.
That means his reputation is in trouble if the same happens when he’s in Vegas.
The Raiders can’t afford to gamble away what they have built if he resorts to those tactics.
It now puts eyes on him in Vegas and if he will repeat those same mistakes or overcome them.
McDaniels Does Not Need To Cheat With Raiders Team
The Raiders front office has built a team ready to win a championship.
With Carr and Adams, they have a duo with a history of setting records.
With their running back Josh Jacobs, they have someone to take pressure off Carr.

They also worked to improve their defense during the 2022 offseason.
Vegas built their team over time through the draft, trades, and offseason moves.
McDaniels now has the keys to this team looking for another playoff run and beyond in 2022.
His offensive weapons should help them score points without cheating.
Carr ranked fifth in passing yards and tenth in completion percentage among starting quarterbacks.
Jacobs ranked 15th among all running backs in rushing yards with 872.
The Raiders need him to return to his 2019 form, where he had 1,150 rushing yards.
Adams ranked second in receptions, third in receiving yards, and fifth in touchdowns.
A reunion with his college quarterback might see his numbers go up for 2022.
These three players give the Raiders significant chances of making the playoffs.
They also give McDaniels a good reason to stay away from the filming of opponents.
However, only time will tell if he goes back to his old ways while in Las Vegas.
