Josh McDaniels Cannot Blow His Second Chance

A second chance has finally come again for Josh McDaniels.

The last chance he had as an NFL head coach came in 2010 with the Denver Broncos.

He only lasted two years in Denver as head coach.

His record when he was fired by the team was 11-17.

However, the poor record isn’t the reason Denver and McDaniels parted ways.

Something sinister was going on with McDaniels, causing Denver to fire him.

Spygate Part Two: McDaniels Repeats What He Saw In New England

McDaniels was the offensive coordinator for New England Patriots during their Spygate scandal.

The team and head coach Bill Belichick faced fines for their illegal filming of the opponents’ hand signals.

McDaniels would employ the same tactics in Denver, leading to his firing over doing so.

The people doing the filming for him got caught filming the walkthrough of the San Francisco 49ers.

It would be the end for him after getting caught for doing what people knew was being done in New England.

With that, his NFL head coaching career was over.

However, the Patriots would rehire him as their offensive coordinator.

Now, McDaniels has one more shot at a head coaching job in the NFL with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Las Vegas Is Rolling The Dice On McDaniels

Vegas is taking a chance with McDaniels, knowing his history from Denver and New England.

Both are hoping this partnership doesn’t end in disaster.

The Raiders already put a lot into their team for 2022.

They traded for the NFL’s top receiver, Davante Adams.

They also have an established running game with Josh Jacobs.

Hiring McDaniels puts their team they built at risk if he goes back to his old ways.

However, if he does that, it will forever tarnish his NFL coaching career.

So McDaniels has a lot riding on his shoulders with this second chance.

The Raiders Team Gives McDaniels A Chance Of Success Without Needing To Cheat

Wherever McDaniels goes, the cloud of Spygate will follow him.

However, Vegas gives him a chance to change his luck and forge a successful future.

In the bright lights of Las Vegas, he can shine bright with a team ready to win a Super Bowl.

The Derek Carr and Adams connection gives him a powerful offensive duo.

Jacobs helps keep the heat off the two with his rushing prowess.

With the offense he has with the Raiders, it should be smooth sailing for the team.

The defensive side also got some help during the offseason, giving McDaniels even more weapons.

These things give McDaniels the best shot of winning again as an NFL head coach.

Can McDaniels Put His Past Behind Him?

This is the most important question he needs to answer.

If he can’t put his past behind him, he will fail.

However, if he keeps the past behind him and forges a new future with the Raiders, he can find success.

We will see if this second chance gives McDaniels a new start or if he stays stuck in his past failures.
