Sometimes, crazy things can happen in baseball.
Whether it be a crazy play, the achievement of a milestone, or even an injury, baseball is always there to provide those wild moments.
So, last night, in the game between the Chicago White Sox and the Baltimore Orioles, we got to see a very odd moment on a hit-by-pitch play.
Harrison attempted to get out of the way by turning his back.
However, in doing so, he ultimately put himself in more danger, as the ball hit his back elbow and he was forced to exit the game.
Codify tweeted a video of the incident.

Harrison Exits The Game
This is a weird way to get hurt.
Usually, getting out of the way of a pitch that is about to hit you as a measure of safety, and that’s what Harrison intended for it to be.
However, it took a weird turn and got him on the back elbow instead of the front.
Harrison ultimately left the game with a right triceps contusion, and he is currently listed as day-to-day.
But it’s certainly a weird way to get hit by a pitch.
It’s not something you’re going to see every day.
You can’t help but hope that Harrison is okay.
The White Sox announced that X-rays were negative, so that’s a good sign.
But that was definitely a weird way for a guy to get hurt and have to exit the game.
Hopefully Harrison recovers quickly and is back out there soon.
