Oklahoma City Thunder rookie Josh Giddey is having one heck of a season – and it only gets better and better.
Giddey has broken a few records already and has also consistently proven himself to be one of the most important parts of the young Thunder squad.
But on Wednesday night, Giddey claimed perhaps his most impressive record so far this year.

Giddey had his third straight triple-double during the Thunder’s 114-106 loss to the San Antonio Spurs.
The young player got 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists.
By doing so, he joined Oscar Robertson in becoming the second rookie in NBA history to record a triple-double in three consecutive games.
Giddey’s latest record isn’t just impressive – it’s downright historic too.
Giddey Going Places
Wednesday’s triple-double was the fourth of his career.
That puts him alongside other NBA greats such as Tim Duncan, Tracy McGrady, Ja Morant, and Karl Malone.
Right now, the young Australian NBA player is tied for 124th on the all-time triple-double list but there is no doubt he will climb much, much higher as his career goes on.
The fact that he is becoming a triple-double machine shows just how talented Giddey is on all sides of the floor.
His offensive game is getting better and better and he has a natural talent and ability to easily land rebounds and deal out assists.
Those sorts of skills are the types that a team can be built around and there is a lot of speculation that the Thunder want to have Giddey at the center of whatever comes next for them.
Indeed, OKC better hold on tightly to Giddey because any other team in the league would happily jump at the chance to land him.
