Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills have been so close to reaching the Super Bowl.
In 2020, they lost in the AFC Championship Game to the Kansas City Chiefs.
A year later, they had an opportunity to defeat the Chiefs on the road during their Divisional Round showdown.
Unfortunately, Patrick Mahomes forced overtime and led the Chiefs to victory.
Could 2022 be the opening the Bills needed after the Chiefs traded All-Pro wide receiver Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins?
With their key players returning, Buffalo could make a strong push to represent the AFC in Super Bowl LVII.
But their journey to the big game starts in Week 1 wherein they will face the defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams on the road.
"It's going to be a playoff atmosphere." 👀

Allen is excited to kick off the 2022 NFL season in Los Angeles and defeating the Rams at SoFi Stadium would be a huge statement for the Bills.
He said, “I think it’s gonna be a playoff atmosphere. I’ve talked to a lot of people who have played in that first game and I think that’s what I’ve been told. It’s a playoff game and they will be raising their banner and there will be emotions that are high.
Allen added, “They wanna come out and obviously play well. So do we so we gotta get off to a hot start and it’s gonna be a tough crowd in L.A. but I think it’s something that’s cool and we’re looking forward to it.”
Super Bowl LVII Preview?
Oh, the storylines about this game are fascinating.
If both teams play to their potential, they could meet again in the season’s biggest game.
Then there’s Von Miller who will now be playing for the Bills after winning a Super Bowl with the Rams.
Los Angeles remains a strong contender for the title thanks to the likes of Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp, Aaron Donald, Bobby Wagner, and Jalen Ramsey.
Meanwhile, the Bills have Allen, Miller, Stefon Diggs, Jordan Poyer, Gabriel Davis, and Tre’Davious White.
Given the depth of talent both teams have, this game could either be a shootout or a low-scoring affair.
