It’s easy to point out the reasons behind the Buffalo Bills‘ recent success.
They might have fallen short of the Super Bowl again, but they are undoubtedly one of the league’s top contenders.
Credit part of that transformation to Josh Allen‘s emergence as an elite quarterback.
Likewise, bringing in wide receiver Stefon Diggs helped change the team’s culture.
The Bills became constant postseason fixtures the moment he joined.
Therefore, it should be a no-brainer for general manager Brandon Beane to lock Diggs in for the long term.
However, former general manager Doug Whaley suggested that the Bills would be better off trading away Diggs.
But Buffalo values Diggs so much that they gave him a four-year, $104 million extension, including $70 million in guaranteed money.
Allen had a short but emphatic “Yes” after the deal was finalized.
Yes.

Diggs’ extension ties him with the Bills for the next six years.
Coincidentally, that’s how long Allen’s extension will be.
It’s no secret that the Bills would like to maximize their window of opportunity with these two players.
Their partnership brought wonders to the franchise, and they deserve every penny they got from their contracts.
Throw in Von Miller to the mix, and they would like to win the franchise’s first Super Bowl in the next few years.
Winning Time Is Now
Their nemesis, the Kansas City Chiefs, lost Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins.
That could be the opening they need to advance further into the playoffs.
It’s evident that Diggs is comfortable playing with Allen, as the numbers show.
In 2020, the Maryland native had a career-best 1,535 receiving yards and eight touchdowns.
His total went down to 1,225 in 2021, but he had ten scores.
That “yes” by Allen summarizes not just his feeling but also the reaction of the Bills Mafia.
With these to superstars in place, the Bills will continue to haunt opponents in the coming years.
