New York Yankees catcher Jose Trevino can feel history is about to be made in the Bronx.
As the Yanks prepare to host the Pittsburgh Pirates at Yankee Stadium, everyone is talking about Aaron Judge.
He is the man of the moment: with 59 home runs, he is about to tie and surpass the franchise record for home runs in a single season.
That record still belong to Roger Maris, who “won” the friendly race with teammate Mickey Mantle and finished with 61 round-trippers in 1961.
But Judge is determined to become the sole record-holder.
To do that, he has to hit at least three long balls from this point to the end of the regular season.
We would say the odds of that happening are quite high.
There is even a chance he ties the record tonight, the way he is currently swinging the bat, and passes the record sometime this week.
Trevino Forecasts History Being Made Soon
Trevino can feel it: the moment should come soon, and thus he is urging fans who want to witness history not to miss the chance to buy a ticket.
"If you're in New York, I'd say buy a ticket. Get to the Stadium."

He knows his teammate, and he watches him every day.
Evidently, Judge is having the best season of his life, hitting .316/.419/.701 with the 59 homers, 122 runs, 127 RBI, and even 16 stolen bases.
Oh, and he has played very good defense in the outfield, even some in center field.
Judge is having a year for the ages, and the best part for him is that it will result in one of the richest contracts in the history of the sport in a few weeks, as he is slated to hit free agency.
