After a terrible start to the postseason, Jose Altuve appears to be heating back up and providing a spark for the back-to-back American League champion Houston Astros.
He had gone hitless up until Game 3 of the ALCS.
Entering Game 2 of the World Series against the Philadelphia Phillies, Altuve had picked himself up off the mat, but was still struggling to find consistency, having recorded just four hits.
But in Game 2, Altuve helped the Astros bust out for five runs with a three-hit game.
Houston won by a final of 5-2 and evened the World Series at a game apiece as it shifts to Philadelphia for Games 3, 4, and 5.

Altuve Heating Up
Altuve might be breaking out at just the right time.
Normally a prolific postseason performer, Altuve had struggled at the start, but appears to finally be finding his groove.
The former American League MVP is still hitting just .171 this postseason.
However, as the old saying goes, there’s no time like the present.
Houston has now evened the World Series and will have a chance to grab a 2-1 series lead tonight in Philadelphia with Lance McCullers on the mound.
Altuve has been a staple of the Astros and their recent postseason success and is one of four holdovers from the 2017 World Series championship team.
It was only a matter of time before the star second baseman got going again and continued his legacy of October success.
Game 3 gets underway at Citizens Bank Park tonight at 8:03 p.m. Eastern Time, with a 2-1 series lead on the line.
