For the last few weeks, fans of the Golden State Warriors have heard so much about Jordan Poole and Draymond Green and the punch heard around the NBA world.
It was the biggest topic of conversation for a couple of weeks.
However, now fans want to talk about something else that is truly far more important: returning to the NBA Finals at the end of the season.
"[Draymond Green] apologized and we plan on handling ourselves that way… That's really all I have to say regarding the matter. We're here to win a championship and keep hanging banners."

The fans aren’t the only ones ready to move on – so is Poole.
He opened up just a bit about the Green situation and seemed very intent on pushing past it.
Speaking to the press, Poole stated his feelings succinctly:
“[Green] apologized and we plan on handling ourselves that way. That’s really all I have to say regarding the matter. We’re here to win a championship and keep hanging banners.”
Poole just signed a huge deal to stay with the Warriors and he wants to keep his head in the game and focus on winning a lot in the upcoming season.
Don’t expect to hear too much more from him, Green, or anyone else regarding the fight.
Warriors Moving On
The new NBA season is literally just hours away which means the Warriors are officially starting a very tough quest: heading back to the NBA Finals and claiming back-to-back victories.
They will not be able to do that unless everyone is laser-focused on the game and only the game.
We could see more developments related to this fight in the months ahead.
There are already some who feel that this sealed Green’s fate and that he will not be with the team much longer.
Most people agree that his chances of getting a maximum contract extension are now all but dead following the punch.
But none of the Warriors are going to be talking about that, at least not publicly.
