With the NFL regular season quickly approaching, some teams are looking to make last-minute roster moves.
Some of those important moves come at the quarterback position.
However, the trade market, to some, remains unknown with Jordan Love from the Green Bay Packers.
His performance in 2021 as a backup doesn’t shine him as a starting quarterback for any team right now.
But he would be a solid backup for any team needing to fill that position.
With Love being a guy who’s at least a good backup, you would think the Packers would make a trade deal with him.
However, this isn’t the case, as they still want him on their roster.
Jordan Love’s Contract Make Him A Value For Green Bay And A Reason To Keep Him
The Packers would be crazy to trade Love with him being so cheap against the cap space.
"well jordan love is still cheap for 2022 and 2023 and you have extra years to see what he has

For 2022, his cap hit is only $3.377 million, a true value for a good quarterback.
2023 looks just as good for them, as his hit is only $3.94 million.
So the Packers wanting to keep him, and refusing to trade him, makes sense for them.
They get someone to replace Aaron Rodgers if he goes down during the next two years.
It also gives them a backup quarterback in case Rodgers retires after this season.
So with every base covered, keeping the young quarterback is a smart move for the team.
However, comments by Love are what got people talking about him possibly leaving Green Bay this season.
Staying In Green Bay Isn’t On His Mind
Right now, Love has his focus on improving as a quarterback.
He realizes he doesn’t control what Green Bay will do with him.
So with that in mind, he is focusing on what will help him and his team.
However, with him being vocal about how he feels, it’s caused people to believe he might want out of Green Bay.
But that isn’t completely true.
All it means is he wants to be the best he can be at quarterback and he knows he doesn’t control what Green Bay will do with him.
With everything he’s been through as a Packer, one would think he’d leave if any team wanted him.
once again emphasizing how terrible i feel for jordan love. he never asked to be out in this situation yet even his own fans are ripping on him for reasons he can’t control :/

With His Own Fans Against Him, Should He Leave Green Bay?
Being a backup quarterback in Green Bay is the worst job ever.
Especially when the top quarterback is getting old and the fan base is blinded by him.
What Love is experiencing is the same thing Rodgers experienced in 2008.
The four-time MVP quarterback was booed by Packers fans when he took over Brett Favre‘s spot.
When the Packers spent their draft pick on Love, the same would happen to him.
While he’s never officially replaced Rodgers, the fact he is there scares most Packers fans that the days of their MVP quarterback are numbered.
So with a fan base that’s disrespected him because of Rodgers, he should go somewhere else where fans will appreciate him.
