After a contract buyout with Houston, the 31-year-old guard is headed west to the Los Angeles Clippers, according to the latest reports.
It’s been a while since we’ve seen Wall play – he literally sat out the entire last season – so some people don’t think of what a big deal this is.

Indeed, there is a chance that Wall’s move to the Clippers could make them serious contenders in the West.
Is he the missing piece the team has needed?
Wall Goes West
This may radically change the success rate of the team.
For the last season, the Clippers relied only on George, as Leonard sat out the entire season rehabbing from an injury.
That means that NBA fans haven’t seen either Leonard or Wall play in over a year.
They could be coming back in full force.
Wall had averaged 19.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 9.1 assists a game.
He’s a very talented player, when healthy, and is a five-time All-Star.
While the lineup of Wall, Leonard, and George might be a bit older than some of the other big threes in the league, they also have a lot of experience, expertise, and talent.
For years now, the Clippers have been promising fans that they’d get far into the playoffs and even make the Finals.
Yet, they have continually fallen short and experienced injuries and setbacks.
The addition of Wall may not seem like a game-changer but it has the potential to really give them the extra boost they need.
