John Wall’s time with the Los Angeles Clippers has come to an end after just a few months.
Wall was added to the Clippers during the summer with the hopes of him being a vital part of the team’s big three alongside Paul George and Kawhi Leonard.
For a number of reasons, those plans didn’t pan out and that led the Clippers to trade Wall away last week at the deadline.

Wall was sent to the Houston Rockets as part of a deal for Eric Gordon but the Rockets had no plans of keeping him around.
On Sunday, it was announced that Wall had been officially waived by the Rockets.
That leaves him without a place to call his own in the league and it has many people wondering what’s next for the celebrated guard.
Wall’s future is up in the air after several tough years.
After playing for the Washington Wizards, Wall spent two seasons with the Rockets in 2020-21 and 2021-22.
But he suffered from an injury and then a dispute about his role within the team.
He sat out all of the 2021-22 season as the Rockets attempted to find a new home for him.
That home eventually came last summer when the Clippers added him.
His past influenced Houston’s decision to waive Wall so he is now on the hunt for a new team.
He hasn’t played a game in weeks due to injury so it will be interesting to see which franchise is willing to sign him as he recovers.
During his time with the Clippers, Wall put up 11.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 5.2 assists coming off the bench, which shows that he still has some fire in him after a decade in the league.
