Everybody around the NFL is talking about the Baltimore Ravens right now, but not for the best reasons.
GM Eric DeCosta isn’t exactly a favorite inside the locker room, with multiple current and former players calling him out throughout the offseason.
Notably, Rashod Bateman was perhaps one of the harshest of all, ripping him on social media for constantly blaming the players — especially the receivers corps — for the team’s shortcomings.
Per Bateman, the team has done a bad job of playing the players to their strengths and keeping the players healthy, as well as protecting them from the media.
However, John Harbaugh didn’t want to read too much into it, admitting that he did talk with Bateman about that but adding that they’re more focused on other things.
Harbaugh added that Bateman would be back to full strength in three weeks and that he’s a huge believer in him, but it wasn’t all that convincing.

Truth be told, it seems like the Ravens’ locker room has zero trust in DeCosta, and that should and could come back to haunt them sooner rather than later.
The organization has failed to keep the players happy and healthy, and the situation around Lamar Jackson is only creating more distractions for a team that could have a hard time keeping up with their divisional rivals.
Jackson admitted that he wants to be traded, and he’s not the only disgruntled star right now, so there could be a bit of a crisis brewing in Maryland right now.
