It was a wild night in Pennsylvania on Thursday as the Philadelphia 76ers took on the Memphis Grizzlies.
In the end, the 76ers pulled out a win, 110-105.
This game was a perfect primetime event, featuring a few of the best stars in the league battling it out.
One of those stars, Joel Embiid, showed the world why he’s one of the most acclaimed and celebrated athletes alive.

As the fourth quarter neared an end, the Grizzlies were up one point over the 76ers.
The focus was on Ja Morant as he made his way into the paint, attempting to score a layup and put the team up by three.
But Embiid wasn’t having any of it and produced a monster block that had the crowd leaping to its feet.
Blocks like this are always exciting and seeing one from Embiid is a delicious treat for Philly fans.
For the evening, Embiid ended with 27 points, 19 rebounds, 6 assists, and 6 blocks too.
That means that there were five other blocks from Embiid during the matchup, although none got as much attention as the one against Morant.
Morant usually talks a big game and isn’t afraid of confrontation but he was left stunned on his back following Embiid’s massive swatting.
Following Thursday’s win, the 76ers have five straight victories and are just three games behind the top-seeded Boston Celtics.
Taking the top spot in their conference will be challenging since the Celtics are so powerful and the Milwaukee Bucks have won 12 games in a row.
But no one should doubt that Embiid and his crew are going to fight hard.
