The Philadelphia 76ers have now won six games in a row and took down the Cleveland Cavaliers with a strong 118-109 victory on Wednesday night.
They were once again led by Joel Embiid on Wednesday, as he scored 36 points and 18 rebounds.
This was just his latest great game and it again proved that he’s one of the best players in the league right now.
In fact, he is now a favorite to become the league’s MVP.
SportsRadio 94WIP has noted that FanDuel now has Embiid listed as the favorite to win Most Valuable Player.
With +110, he is now ahead of Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets, who has +160.

All season long, Embiid has been part of the MVP conversation but now it seems like he’s at the front of the pack.
How long will this last?
Embiid really is having one of the best seasons of his career.
He is averaging 33.5 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 4.1 assists a game, on a 54.1% field goal percentage.
Those are wonderful numbers but what really sets Embiid apart from so many other players is that he has been so markedly consistent all season long.
He has been having wonderful and strong games since October and has only experienced a few bad games during that time.
Embiid is not only creating an amazing number of points but he is playing with a more determined personality and leadership skills that are stronger than ever.
And the fact that his 76ers are now the third-best team in the East only helps his chances of winning MVP.
Embiid has been runner-up for the big prize for two years in a row.
Will 2022-23 be the year he finally claims the top trophy in the league?
