The Cincinnati Bengals may have lost Super Bowl LVI, but football fans are positive that they will have more tries in the future.
They have a young but talented group that has a ton of upside, even if they’ve already won the AFC crown this season.
Head coach Zac Taylor will be leading the way after he signed a contract extension that lasts until the 2026 NFL season.
But Joe Burrow is his extension on the field as they call plays to maximize their imposing running back Joe Mixon, and their scary receiver trio of Tyler Boyd, Tee Higgins, and Offensive Rookie of the Year Ja’Marr Chase.
With that many weapons, it should only be a matter of time before the Bengals return to football’s biggest game.
However, this alarming tweet from NFL on CBS argues otherwise.

It raises the question of “Will Joe Burrow buck this very extensive trend?” which Bengals fans hope he can.
However, sometimes the truth is shocking, as proven by the list above.
Will Burrow And The Bengals Play In The Super Bowl Again?
If you ask NFL on CBS, a return is unlikely because each of the last 16 quarterbacks to lose their Super Bowl debut never made it back to the big game.
It’s a kind of fact that no one would think about until someone shared it on social media.
Unfortunately, the list is verifiable and accurate.
The San Francisco 49ers have two quarterbacks on the list, namely Colin Kaepernick and Jimmy Garoppolo.
Meanwhile, former league MVPs Matt Ryan and Cam Newton lost to the New England Patriots and the Denver Broncos, respectively.
Jared Goff played in Super Bowl LIII but failed to lead the Los Angeles Rams on a scoring drive.
The Rams finally won a Super Bowl in Los Angeles three years after that defeat.
On that note, the Bengals hope that Burrow will be able to carry the Bengals to their first hoisting of the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
However, that won’t happen if they don’t upgrade their offensive line, which Burrow badly needs.
